Hi all,

I am 26yrs old and have been head over heels for a particular woman 3yrs my junior for the past ....umm 2 yrs. No, I'm not Don Juan. Anyhoo, we have been studying at the same uni, different courses but similar area of interest. We had been in the same class together for one semester and our eyes did flicker (ever so faintly mind you). The handful of times I have spoken to her were unfortunately verrrry short and just about the regular jibberish that went through my head at the time (i.e., Hi, how's it going? Enjoying yourself? yadda yadda) Needless to say she had no idea of the crush i had on her. She has just finished uni (I still have a few years to go). The problem is that after attending her final year exhibition (totally planned and solely to see her) I discovered that she has a boyfriend. I have a hunch she has been seeing this guy for only a short time. I have her email address, and i need a heart-stopping way to tell her that I am interested in her. So experts - HELP!

The circumstances are kinda difficult. I don't know where she works, I don't have a number. I only have an email address. This was used once to congratulate her on completing uni (and it did contain a hint of "hope to see you again soon" in it). I can't be too forward about this because she might just have the slightest idea that I am interested in her, and I wouldn't want to make her unhappy by making her choose between her current boyo and myself. So if email is my only method of attack, I need a good, heck I need a brilliant Don Juan moment!!, to tell her that I'd like to see her again, without sounding like I am trying to make her life awkward by making her choose. And this is one opportunity I CANNOT simply make look slap-dash. This is the big one. And it has to be a winner. I am reluctant to straight out tell her I am interested in her simply because we have a nice rapport (whenever we saw each other anyway). She is too nice to make feel awkward on account of my humiliation.

So, you're 26 eh Ron.. Well, there are a couple of thing you need to understand about women in general and I'm sure this one fits the mold..
1) There is no doubt she knows you're interested..
- Women have been hit on daily since puberty.. The pretty much know when someone is interested... Furthermore, she has probably seen and/or heard any approach you or I can imagine.
2) If she is interested in you she probably would have already let you know..
3) None the less, You can still approach her however, I would recommend just being honest and up front about your feelings..
- Don't be all nervous and all, but do be confident in telling her you would like to spend some time getting to know her better.. that is your goal isn't it?
4) Boyfriends come and go.. so even if she has one today doesn't mean she will tomorrow. SO GO FOR IT..
5) Trust me, she will more appreciate your honesty then she will any around the bush approach you or I could think of.
- The one thing they don't hear much is honesty..
6) It's a gamble with your emotions... She may flat out not be interested - period.. AND you will have to accept that - period..
So be prepared...
- good luck Ron.

attempt to spend as a lot time at the same time with her as a chance. Invite her to activities, lunch, and so on. Get her quantity and talk to her in many circumstances. e mail her in many circumstances. Ask her questions about her. which could get her interest. at the same time as the time is ideal, seem into her eyes and tell her that you're fascinated. Be confident.

the ONLY way for her to know 100% is to tell her unfortunetly, there is no hint or subtle gesture that will make her see the way you feel for her....without being cheesy anyway.
she has a boyfriend hun...i think its best that you wait until she is single, OR do what you think you need to do, sounds like you have liked her too long to hold back...better now than never huh?

No sure fire way, best bet, be confident and funny when around her. If you come across sappy and love-struck, you're done. Have to raise her interest interest by showing her that she is missing something. Be yourself.
