Like Jack Skelington said, Judaism is a religion, not a race. But, besides that, consider Romans 10:1, which says, "Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved." Though Paul is speaking, God inspired the Scriptures; He is the author of the Word. Also, consider I Corinthians 12:13, which says, "For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit." True, Jewish people constituted the majority of the crowd that condemned Jesus. And true, God talks about visiting the sin of one generation upon their children and grandchildren. BUT (and this is a BIG but), John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that WHOSOEVER believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." This is not exclusive. And, keep in mind, the Jews are still God's chosen people. Granted, they still have to accept Christ as their personal Lord and Savior for salvation, just like everyone else in the world, but they are God's chosen people.
Also, to the people who say the Romans killed Jesus...the last part of John 18 and most of John 19 talk about how Pilate found no fault in him and did not want to kill him, but the Jews insisted that Jesus broke the Torah and thus had to be killed. Also, consider Matthew 27:19, in which Pilate's wife also tries to convince him not to crucify Jesus. And in verse 24, Pilate left Jesus to the high priests and the crowd, trying to clean himself of guilt by association. However, Pilate DID have the last say. So, like someone said, it was just evil people in general that killed Him. I agree with asking questions of will white men or will Christians go to Hell for the acts of one person or a group of people. The answer is no, and it's easy to draw the analogy. Like I said before, the only thing that determines whether or not one goes to Hell or Heaven is faith and trust in Jesus Christ as one's personal Lord and Savior.
And to answer Tasha, yes. James 2:10 says, "For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all."

Jews didn't crusify Jesus. The Romans did. Crusifiction is NOT a Jewish method of death. It was the preferred method of the Romans, especially when they wanted a very slow, very agonizing, "make an example of this person" kind of death to happen. Roman soldiers flogged and mocked Jesus prior to his death. Roman soldiers made him carry the crossbeam of his cross through the streets of Jerusalem. Roman soldiers pounded the nails into his wrists and ankles and put him on the cross. Roman soldiers stood guard at his cross. Finally, a Roman soldier thrust his spear into Jesus' side to ensure that he was in fact dead before sundown.
The Roman government ordered Jesus be put to death because they feared upheaval and revolt if he lived and continued to gain in popularity. Roman govenors would do anything to stay in control. Nobody is going to hell now for a death that happened two thousand years ago.

elmer: The over all answer to your question is an emphatic NO !!! Why? 1) There is no such thing as "hell" in the Bible ... this is a mistranslation of the words "sheol" (Hebrew) and "hades" (Greek) ! 2) The Jews back at the time of the Roman occupation of Jerusalem had Gentile servants with them, before the Roman Governor, Pontus Pilate, as he listened to their cries of "Crucify Him ... Crucify Him !" , in asking what he should do with Jesus Christ. Therefore, all people are equally as guilty before God !

The Roman government killed Him. And if you want to say it was the Jews, it wasn't ALL the Jews! Jesus and all 12 apostles were Jews. All Christians come from Jewish or Pagan ancestors. The logic behind "the Jews killed Jesus" is completely stupid. Evil people killed Him, the end.

Hell does not exist. Jesus died on the cross just like everyone else for that time frame. Jewish people are not a race, it's a religion. And stuff.

Well to start anybody who doesn't believe in Jesus will go to Heaven I think.
Secondly, if Hitler killed lots of people, are all Germans going to hell?
Third, in the Bible says that all the Jews will accept Jesus as the Messiah and then He'll come to earth and the Jews will be the first ones to go with him to Heaven with the good ones as well.

no, the crucifixion was foretold as much as 1400 years before. I highly doubt that Moses is going to hell. the 144,000 which are 12,000 jews from 12 tribes are not going to hell. Christ's crucifixion was more about sacrifice and fulfillment rather than murder.

it is not in the crucifixtion , it is in the not believing in the son of God ; it is thinking that you know better than God; therefore, if you can't accept Jesus, you can't accept his son, his message , his salvation which is rewarded with heaven; no questions ask, sight unseen, Faith , is what will bring us to God's presence; if you don't acknowledge his gift of his son to forgive sins, then you are not acknowledging God the father; Jews were the chosen race but have falter at every opportunity and that is why the turmoil with them ; they are still waiting for a savior; we received God's message that he sent the Savior; if you question God , you are trying to put yourself above his power, wisdom and love to say that you know better and we don't. That is the difference.

The Romans executed Jesus, not the Jews. In fact, the guy who stuck the spear in was Capt Longinus of the Roman legions.
Even so, if a Christian commits murder, do all Christians go to hell for it ?
