Hi. I'm with you on this. I'm somewhat over weight, too, and though the doctor hasn't said anything about it, I realize I'm losing strength in my legs, too.

I've been reading in Arthritis Today and they encourage walking, walking, walking. It's difficult to get a schedule going but you and I have motivation -- we want to be as independent as long as possible.

This magazine encourages daily walking. It doesn't need to be much at first but we have to build up to longer and longer walks. We live in the south and have a pool, so in my case swimming and stretches are recommended too.

Put a picture of a wheel chair on your refrig or in the bathroom -- a daily reminder like that might help with the motivation.

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Get started today!
