Some don't even think there will be a rapture, but Lets say there is, will those left behind still be able to get saved? I hear a lot of people say, "If I see Christians disappear, then I will get saved". But I have been shown in the Bible where they will not be able to get saved.
You will have to read 2 Thessalonians Chapter 2 to be able to understand this train of thought.
In verse 7 He who now letteth is the Holy Spirit.
Verse 9 is talking about the Antichrist or False Prophet.
See in verse 7 where it says," until he be taken out of the way". When the rapture happens the Holy Spirit will not be here to stand in the way of the Antichrist.
In verse 11 God will send them ( All those left behind ) strong delusion, that they should believe a lie.
Why? Because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. verse 10
Verse 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
What do you think?

In Revelation it says 7 times "He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the Churchs". Then every time it says if again it says, "He who has an ear, let him hear".
Why? Because the Church is gone and so is the Holy Spirit.

John S, I have been told the only ones that will be saved after the rapture will be the Jews, when they learn the False Prophet is a fake. Those that refuse to get saved now, that have heard the truth preached to them, won't be saved.

I'm thinking-
whew! that's a tough read. It looks like it says that "all" will believe the lie. If it were not for the saved spoken of in Revelations, I would have to agree. But there are saved on this earth during the tribulation.
But, you make a good point- this is a good concept for serious study. I will be working on this in the future
Thanks for opening my eyes-
John

The problem is where you place the Rapture in relationship to the Tribulation. The doctrine of a secret Rapture, prior to a seven-year Tribulation, is extra-Biblical. But all the teachers who are pleased by this concept just go about to twist the scriptures into proving and supporting what their preconceived doctrine requires.
In fact, the Bible teaches a 3.5 year Tribulation of The Saints during which many do get saved. Then the Rapture. Then a 3.5 year
period called The Wrath of God. Nobody gets saved during the Wrath of God. People will cry out for the rocks and hills to fall upon them to hide them, for the Wrath of God has come.

The Rapture was a mystery up until the time of the Apostle Paul. However, the concept of the rapture is laid out for us in the life of Jesus and his Bride, the Church.
For the Rapture is a part of the Wedding Contract or Covenant between a man and his bride, and Christ and the Church, His Bride.
The Rapture is based upon 1st Century Jewish traditions. See link to my website below, and scroll down to Bible studies, and look for, What Is The Rapture.
Yes. In short they are called the Tribulation saints.
It is those who refuse to accept the mark of the beast, in (I believe) the last 3 1/2 years of the Tribulation period.
He that endure till the end, in will give him a crown of life. In their death, they will recieve the crown of life.
God always has a witness of and for him. The 144,000 are in deed Spirit Filled Jews.

That section is saying that God won't be around to protect those people, not that they won't be saved at all.
They who fell to the wayside of God's word must face the consequences and only those few of them who are truely worth saving will perservere through the trials ahead of them.
"God will send them a strong delucion, that they should believe a lie."
This is a test of faith. It will be easy to say 'Oh! The rapture! Okay, I like Jesus now!', but those who are not true in their beliefs will be weeded out by a false Christ. The lie.
If these people were all purely Damned, God would not send his son at the end to defeat the Antichrist and create a thousand year kingdom for them.

No one will be saved after the "rapture." Life on earth will end at the rapture, which is the second coming. God's people still living will be translated to meet Christ in the air, and the cosmos will end. Judgment will follow with all who have ever lived standing before the Lord Jesus Christ.

A great multitude will be saved after hearing the preaching of the 144,000 witnesses.
But none of them will have heard the gospel before the rapture.
Those who hear the gosple before the rapture and reject it, will believe the lie after the rapture.

No. For those who refused to accept Jesus as their Savior while they had the chance, but needed proof instead of living by faith in God, this is what God will say to them after the Rapture...
Matthew 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

The rapture, as near as my research has indicated, is a man-made doctrine. The word rapture is of Latin origin, and means to seize The bible refers to being caught up with Christ, when He returns, and He is only returning once, at the end of the tribulation. For further clarity, read Jesus' own words in Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21

If i follow that triain of thought i want to be the one left behind. In the time of the flood only the wicked were taken away(in judgement) and the righteous were left behind.

In Revelations, it says about the millions that made their robes white (they became saved) during the Great Tribulation.
