Yeah, they never really explain that one. Maybe God created a few more folks to prevent in-breeding. Maybe all of us are the products of incest, which would explain a lot of things. Or maybe... just MAYBE... all that biblical stuff is a giant load of horse manure. It's up to you to make that decision.

Genesis states that God created Adam in His own image, placed all the animals, then made Eve. After the fruit incident, they had Cain and Abel. Cain killed his brother and was banished. The Bible goes on to say that Cain took a wife. One school of thought is that humans are a sub-species and Cain went dumpster diving for a wife. It's the only way that story makes sense to me. Humans were placed on earth along with the other animals, Adam and Eve and their children were superior beings and Cains punishment was to live with the animals called man...

Okay you are looking at this from our current/modern perspective.
Adam and Eve had TONS of kids. How many? It is unknown, however enough to populate the world. Of the children, they did marry each other and have children. This was no incest as we think of it. Why? Don't forget that God formed Adam and created Eve; they were perfect. And they did not have the sins of the flesh like we do now because of their 'stronger' stock. It wasn't until Abraham where God told Abe 'hey don't marry cousins anymore, Bud'. Prior to that time familial/intermarriage was very very common.
Now, God knew what He was talking about. The further we are away from his creation of Adam and Eve the further we are from that perfect formation and our gene pool becomes more polluted; we have more diseases, sins, concupisciences than ever before--as each generation passes we are THAT much further from the perfection ---

well they obviously had more children because at the time that Cain killed Able they were both already parents. They did marry sisters of theirs but incest was not a sin at that time because it was the only way to start populating the world that God had made for his spirit children (us). The biggest issues with incest is that it usually involves force and abuse and with our genetic make up not being as pure as it was then. (It is also only in modern times we don't allow cousins to mary for the same reason.)

Adam and Eve also had daughters which the sons married and had children by. This was permitted by God in order to populate the earth. Then when Noah put his family onto the ark, and the world's population was destroyed, The same took place with Noah's children, until God said it was no longer permitted.

Cain and Abel were the children born from Adams and Eve's mating with the children of man. This was their "sin", departing from the divine plan. They were only supposed to be each other's partner until they had enough offspring to continue their mission to uplift the inhabitants of Earth.

It's a myth. A nice myth but still a myth. It doesn't say that Adam & Eve were the only humans created by God. Genesis doesn't mention any others but it doesn't say there weren't other people in the world.

There wasn't much else to do besides sex . Adam and Eve had a lot of kids, because there was no jobs back then. and marriage to your sister was OK for them. But not now because the blood is much weaker, they lived 900+ years back then,Genesis 5:4
And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters:

when you think about it Jesus was born to an unwed mother and we worship him. It was the beginning of civilization and many things were different. To populate the earth god would have had to make many more people. We have learned much from them. Incest did not exist.
