I mean even if you don't believe in God, I know that you don't want to go to hell. So why not give God a try and let Jesus save your soul from hell's fire.

The bible talks about hell and how people don't understand the misery. Jesus said if your hand causes you to sin chop it off it is better to enter heaven with one hand than to go to hell with both. People do not understand the value of their soul. Would you sell your eyeball for 1 million $ yes no? what about both for a billion. How much more is your soul that uses your eyes as a window to the world? Think Listen to your conscience. eternity. Where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth where the fire is never quenched and the worm never dies. hello wake up call.

How can I care that someone thinks I will go to places that I've never believed in? I respect that you believe in these places but I never have. I would never denounce the deities that have always been there for me because I am afraid of going to a place that I don't feel exists in the first place. It wouldn't make sense. Do you understand that some people simply don't believe in the Christian concepts of heaven and hell? Only Christians believe in Christian concepts.

Pascals wager sounds so convincing. Which god do i sign up to? Yahweh? Allah? Thor? Odin? The flying spaghetti monster? The cosmic monkey? The invisible pink unicorn? You get what I'm sayin.

Also, if you can't just believe in something if you don't believe in it, the mind doesn't work like that.

Finally, is your omniscient god (whichever one he is) going to be fooled by the fact that I'm only "believing" in him out of fear of punishment. If he is then he's not omniscient, if he ins't then your argument suddenly breaks down.

There is no heaven or hell. Hell is on this earth, now. When we die we will hopefully advance to the next level of development. At that time we will either come back to correct our mistakes from our previous life and advance again, or we will reach the height of development, Nirvana.

I care. It's often on my conscience to try to live each day as if my Saviour is coming back this day. Torment, Demons, Lake of Fire,
Heat! Forever!! I don't think so! pssst I think you meant Heaven. lol!
