It mostly depends on how long you have been talking and how much of a feel you have for what he truly is.
If you decide that it may be okay to do that make the first few meetings in a very public place. Ask him if he has family in town....like a brother or sister.....and would he give you their address and phone #. If he will...take someone you trust and go check him out.
Most people on line are on the up and up but for a women it is never a good idea to take that chance.
Never let him know where you live until you know him very well. If anything he tells you does not ring true in any way make sure you back off until you know why.
I met my current wife on the Internet. We were due to meet and I gave her my sisters name and phone number so she could feel okay about it. I was far more worried about it than she but I wanted her to know I was okay.
If he is the good guy you think he is he will want you to know that too.
No one likes to not trust someone they are attracted to. But in this day and age you must be sure. Too much to loose.

Meet him someplace public and bring your phone. Have a freind call you after a half hour or so to check on things. If it's going good, then have her call back later. If it's bad, use the call as an excuse to leave.

If you do decide to meet him make sure you have a couple of people go with you and make it a crowded public place. Don't leave with him. Leave with your friends. If it was me I would not meet him anywhere. He may be a good person like you but there are a lot of sexual predators out there.

Sure meet him, but go in your own vehicle, met in an EXTREMELY public place (food court in a busy mall) do NOT go anywhere else with him alone. After the meeting pretend you have some shopping to do before you go out to your car (in case he decides to follow you). If you find he IS following you go to mall secuirty or the information desk and report him. Do NOT go to your car right after your meeting, make sure he is not around when you go to your car to go home.

i have met about 10 guys from online and people are people but talk for MONTHS before meeting.....you need to know firs tthat hes a good person. good luck

this is only my opinion so no offence to any one, if i were you i would have maid absolutly sure you really know him for like about five monthes or more would probly do but make sure when you meet him he well is what your expecting make sure its in a reall public place like walmart for example. i wouldnt get in the car with him by my self and i would not go to your house alone with him. just make sure you know the saftey tips because i would not ever want to here on the news that someone was raped or killed because of something like that even though i here it alot just please dont go with him by your self. if your smart you will listen to everyone who will try to convince you not to go. in my opinion i would look at it this way if i do meet him do i want to be alone with him what if i get raped or worse killed.you can even get kidnapped and go missing i defitnetly would hate for that so please be smart.

NO Monica e,you will do better getting to know people off line.Then you can see who your talking to.Also,make your decisions on what you see in them and what they say.Not just a voice on the phone,or on line.

i'm sorry but i don't think you should go meet him. Maybe your thinging he's something that he's not, he could end up hurting you.... he could be a very bad person but who knows.
