It isn't your fault.

You said "no" to sneeking out.

They went ahead anyway.

They then stole a car and got into a car crash and topped off the event by running away from the police.

You were not in the car, you said "no".

They made choices that they will need to live with and take responsibilty for just as we all do.

I know that you are feeling badly about this entire situation, but it really don't be so hard on yourself as you can never control other people's actions.

I hope no one was hurt in the crash. Take care.

Darling, you were sensible and didn't get involved in a very, very bad situation and you are asking if it was your fault...Sweetie, you need a reality check. You are not responsible if your friends commit felonies and acts of stupidity whether or not you are with them. What are you thinking? That you could have talked them out of this idiotic late night activity? I don't think so, hon. Seems like they were up to pulling out all stops no matter what that night. I just hope that neither of them are permanently injured because of their refusal to act like responsible human beings rather than spoiled rotten punks. Now they not only have injuries but police records, I would assume...unless dad paid to cover it all up. What part of this fiasco do you think you should have been a part of after it was all over? The grand theft auto? The fleeing from the authorities? Or the automobile crash? I don't think you missed out on anything, sweetie, and I think you are a smart enough girl to realize that by now.

Of course it is not your fault. Thank God you were not involved in the cops chasing them. You have absolutely nothing to feel guilty about.

What kind of stupid question is this?
Sounds like you WANT it to be your fault. You need new friends.

No. Did you post this just so we would know you had some friends who got in trouble?
