It will end when Bush leaves. It keeps people from focusing on the real problems happening to the people in this country.

God ... I hope so and not years from now. So many innocents are being killed/maimed and tortured with fear ... it is not right. But, (keep in mind if I voted for George W during the last election it was only so he could clean up the mess he made & and he has not) ... I think the belief/religious thing adds a whole new and unknown(at least to GW) facet to this war. Nothing anyone seemed to be prepared for it seems there will always be allegiance to Shiite or Sunni ... and how different are these factions? In reality, the muslim/islamic beliefs and rituals are not even that different from the Hebrew beliefs and rituals. So WHY do they fight each other with such hate ... who knows? I hope it not just about land.
George W will not be able to clean up his mess in the Middle East, specifically (today) Iraq.
I get very nervous when he speaks to Iran and Syria

the war in Iraq will end but not for another decade or so. the war in Iraq has turned into a fierce civil war at the moment and is not going to blow over anytime soon. bush should keep his troops in there as they need them, if not more.

We've been fighting this sort of war for well over a century. The U.S. experience is similar to that of other countries. They tend to last for between ten and thirty years.
I'm guessing you're (1) young and (2) quite limited in your education in military history.

it will end one day with a dictator like Saddam taking power or the country been divided into 3 separate states. The western media will forget about it as soon as the US and allies leave.

Let us see come January! That is what the Democrats ran on in the election. I guess it is put up or shut up! I think that we should finish winning the war.
