How do I know if I have split ends? I always look at the tips but it is not split/broken at all. I haven't been to a stylist for nearly 8 months either. I'm geting suspicious (lol). If there are no split ends to trim then should I just leave it at that? Even though I am growing my hair out and I was told that I must trim it atleast every 3-4 months. Any opinions would be great appreciated. Happy Holidays fashionettas!

I would trim it about every 6 months and get a hot oil treatment it will help your hair grow if your trying to grow it out. I had long hair for years and I get it trimed often to make it look healthy and to keep it growing but remember your hair does not grow from the ends it grows from the root and you need to keep them healthy. Hope this helps.

trim just a little, but u don't need to do it every 3-4 months. if u keep ur hair healthy and want to grow it out long just trim a little every 6-8 months

in case you leave all the trim the trim the way that it incredibly is, i might tournament or pass darker with the floor. Going lighter will make the trim come out and not the floor. portray the diverse trim and doorways particularly factors is suitable to boot, which then would desire to help you apply a lighter coloration floor if needed.

i guess that if you are happy with your hair, you should just leave it as it is.

however, your hair might look healthier if you have it trimmed.
my hair never has split ends, even when i don't have it cut for months. but when i trim it, it looks so much healthier.

hope i helped a bit!

if you have split ends then your hair grows slower. it is best just to trim it about 1 cm every 3 months or so so it grows quickly and stays healthy

split ends are when a single strand of hair spilts at the end like a snake toung. u dont need a trim unless you feel like u do, like if ur hair looks dried out or if you have a lot of dead ends.

sometimes your ends can get mushy instead of split,.. it's always a good idea to get a trim at least as often as your suppose to go to the dentist,.. every 6 months

My sister had hair halfway down her back she went to get the dead ends trimmed and got 14 inches cut off. yikes tehe, it was still shoulder length or more.
but ya it's a good idea to get the dead ends trimmed so it will grow out quicker and healthier.
