OK so my ex- boyfriend is 25 and I'm 21. We dated for a month then HE ended it saying that he's "busy". Our relationship was very innocent, it never went past kissing cuz he knew that I wanna save myself for marriage. Neways, we both go to the same university, I'm an undergrad while he's a grad student. I was crossing the street and he called my name and we talked for a bit. At the end of the conversation he asked me "to give him a shoutout if I ever wanted to "hang out". I said said bye & walked away. That was a month ago & he never brought it up even on msn, thus I thought it was just fake. Today I got the biggest surprise, I logged on msn and he said hi right away. He asked me my plans for the winter break & I did, then he told me that he's gonna have a long break & travel. Then he said "we should meet up". I said sure & he asked me when was good for ME, I did, & now we're meeting up next week.He said he'll call me the night before. WHY does he wanna see me now?

I'm a guy so trust me on this, To be honest I think he just wants you temporarily, but i could be wrong, maybe he had a change of heart. BUT be wary that he may do the same thing again. No guy EVER says they are too busy unless they lost interest, that is the dumbest most lame immature way to get out of it. I would ask him his motives before meeting with him. maybe he's lonely and wants some "action", maybe he realize he actually likes you a lot but i wouldn't be surprised if you met, hooked up and a week or 2 later he says the same horrible lame excuse..Your not a YoYo, don't waste your time. Plus if youturn him down, you'll have the edge and he'll know how it feels. If I were you I would do the same as he did to you, tell him your a little too busy. Also, if he was serious about anything why'd it take him a month to get you on MSN; think about that

It seems to me that he might wanna get back with you. He probably is just now starting to realise that he might have made the wrong decision about breakin it off and misses you. Now he's trying to slowly work his way back into the picture. You know how it is with an X flame. There are those certain ones you wish you could get back with & if/or when u see them u try to.

do you know what? the day when he will call you say that everything is fine, but do not show up in the date. when he will contact you, just say that you were really "busy", same as he did. do not let him use you just because maybe he does not have a girlfriend right now...good luck!

I'd be frank, open and straitforward...ask him, you have every right to as you cannot read his mind, so don't feel silly in asking. Its better to know what direction he is coming from than not to, and it is possible he may not even know what he wants.

There could be alot of reasons. Best guess is he wants to see if you are still interested. Meet him and see what he says. Then it is up to you.

It sounds like he doesn't even know what he wants, it sounds like he's just bored/lonely and wants to see what happens. I would ignore him.
