I believe He will, He promises He will. He is taking His church with Him because He loves them and they love Him and know Him. His church are those who accept His sacrifice and love Him, and know Him. but there is so much more to it than I can answer in this one answer alone, search for yourself, the Lord promises the Holy Spirit to always be with you to guide you, pray for Him to lead you to all truths

John 13:34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
From the very beginning, God's plan was to weed out the unrightous, disobedient people from the righteious obedient God fearing people, the Chruch/ bride to become the wife of His son Jesus in heaven. That will be the final marriage that will take place. The Church/bride to Jesus, the Lamb of God.
All our life we are getting ourselves ready for the bride groom, by way of our obedience to God, as well as our accepting Jesus as or personal Savior, repenting of our sins and turning our life over to Jesus for the rest of our lives here on earth. This is the process of getting our selves ready to become the wife of Jesus.
Obedience is an important part of our getting ready for Him. Sharing His word and showing others who are living in the darkness of sin the way straight into the loving arms of Jesus through their accepting Him as their personal Savior.
God wants the bring the best of the best together to become His son Jesus bride/wife.
Revelation 19:7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready
When Jesus returns and this will take place in our lifetime, He will not step onto the earth, but say to His Church...
1 Thessalonians 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Revelation 4:1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.
All others will be left behind.

He is taking us with him because he promised eternal life for his people. It is written in the Bible.
2 Peter 3:10-15 (New International Version)
But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare.
Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat. But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, the home of righteousness.
So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him. Bear in mind that our Lord's patience means salvation, just as our dear brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom that God gave him.

The earth is going to be purified by fire. The church must be called out of the earth for a thousand years while the earth is being made new.

Yes i believe that God will return for his children. He tells us that in the book of Revelation. He said that he will come like thief in the night. No one knows the day hour not even the angels in heaven. We all have to be ready when God returns for his people. I will be ready. You ahve to know Jesus Christ for your savior or you will be left here for the Tribulation period. 7 long years of literally a "hell" on earth. I knowi am glade that i am not going to be here to see that horrible time..

Yes he will He is taking his church first because he is going to punish the whole earth for 7 years, for what they are doing, and he doesn't want to punish his believers. The church is all of the christians in the whole world that are "born again believers" no matter what group of building you go to..
Read the book of revelation..
Rev 6:8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
