it is a four maybe five year old car which means it has been driven approximately 20 - 25 thousand miles a year. That is anywhere from 54 to 70 miles a day, every single day. If that is city traffic miles, I would not buy this car; though there is so much put into how great they are up too 200K miles, that is only if they are well maintained and driven very well. Over 106k, you are looking at a lot of wear on the timing belt, the lifters and valves and more importantly the transaxle, which is the one area of a car folks hardly ever service. Be wary if the price is too good to be true, compared to similiar vehicles, then it is just that, too good to be true. Make sure it has a clean title in that case.

Toyota Camrys are good cars - my grandmother has a 1998 that is still in great shape - but I'd be leery of such a new car with so many miles already on it.
Before you buy, get it checked. A lot of garages will give a car the once-over for a nominal fee - $60 or so. That could save you a lot of trouble in the long run!

Remember that you are buying miles... The lower the better.. for that much money shop some more.. The Camry with the 4cyl auto is bullet proof and you can buy a newer one with less miles than the V6 .. PS.. Toyota has had engine sludge problems in early 2000+ cars.. get the 4 cyl..

The mileage isn`t the issue, the price is.... I think $11,000 is a bit high. Maybe check the local classifieds, (the larger circulated newspaper the better!) and see what an `04 is selling by private party. The Camry is an excellent car, good luck.

That is not a good deal. You should check out other locations because I have found a better deal that that. I got a 2003 Toyota with 60,000 miles for 12,000. That is a better deal.
