That is speaking of flesh death, a shadow of the second death.
Yes I'm ready because I have passed from death unto life, eternal death unto eternal life.
Born again truly means born from above or born of the Spirit.

I think most people are probably ready to die and most have wished they were dead or that their life would end soon, especially teenagers.
Though, I am sure there are a few, rich mostly, who have been spoiled so much that they have not yet embraced the thought of death.

I've been born again in Christ for years already... the 'somewhere else' will be with the Father once this earthly body is no more. and we will all face judgement.... whether we believe and accept Christ or not...
