Before God destroyed Sodom and Gamorrah God saved Lot and his family before He poured out His wrath.

Before God flooded the earth with water God saved Noah and his family before He poured out His wrath.

God is getting ready to pour out His wrath for the last time. The true believers (Christians) will be saved from God's wrath.

Matthew 3: 7But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?

8Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance:

9And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.

10And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

One thing I don't understand.... there was no writings of hell until like the ninth century, when a book was written by a MAN detailing this mythical place. So how do Christians accept it as fact? Maybe the old testament is the word of God, maybe it's a crock. But the book about hell, it wasn't written that long ago... we know who wrote it! There's no mention of it in the ancient religions.

It's also rather convenient that a religon that prospers on actively pursuing converts and constantly seeking "donations" would have such a nasty alternative to believing.

The rapture is a Christian doctrine that says that Believers will be snatched up to heaven like a lightning flash before the wrath of GOD is poured out on the earth.

Jesus will come down from heaven but will not touch the earth with his feet (that is the Army of Armageddon - His feet will touch the Mt of Olives at that time which will be the Second Coming of the Lord). The dead in Christ will rise first - caught up in the air to meet him.

You spelt "hear" wrong.

I'm glad you withdrew the last attempt, because I was going to tell you it was a bloody stupid question.

As I don't believe in your god, I'm hardly going to think he's going to come down here with a load of buses to take all the good boys and girls off to never-never land, am I?

It is as daft as me saying
"Creationists - do you believe in evolution".
