All my boyfriend wants for Christmas is a trip to NYC for a few days. We'll be there from Dec. 24-26. Any ideas on what to do when we get there. He's very ecletic (likes tatoos, modern art, flea market shopping). I want to take him to a show maybe, a nice restaurant (but not too swanky) and maybe a club. Any ideas. I also don't want everything to be too far away from each other.

take him to greenwich village. he will enjoy that. you could also take him to rockafeller center. have a very merry christmas.

You can do the typical Christmas things, Radio City Music Hall, and skating at Rockefeller Square. Or, you could take the tour at Radio City and watch others skate at Rockefeller.
Other than that, you won't have enough time. There is so much to do, that you should probably buy a guide book, so that you can plan your days. Leave enough time for unscheduled exploring, though.
You might also choose to spend a day outside of Manhattan, in Queens or Brooklyn, for example. There are lots of things to do and see that aren't quite so touristy.
Bring comfortable walking shoes, a water bottle and prepare to be shocked at prices.

The hyatt off broadway is the best service. There are lots
of restaurants at rockefeller plaza, the fashion street. When
booking a site in this area at least consider there is a set of
season specials from Koolaid, Polar cola, and sponsors club
for saving and including hilites like Olympian skating. Have a
blast visit my favorite MTV.

You definitely have to visit Rockefeller Center and go ice skating! Also, if you can get reservations, Tavern on the Green is AWESOME!
