There is no such thing as a weaker sex, only good technique, so yes a woman has just as much chance as a man with the same training, to think otherwise makes you a sexist if you think a woman cannot fight if trained just like a man.
To the guy with the poor headboard slam, I hope several ladies kick your butt to show you they are not objects to own, they are humans just like men and deserve the same as men, no more or less.

Yes, but the woman not only has to be athletic but strong as well. When there is a big difference in strength between two people wrestling, athleticism alone is not enough. At one time I used to compete in wrestling and judo(in the lighter weight classes). When I would practice against fighters much heavier and stronger than me they could often ''muscle'' their way into a win against me, or at least stop some of my moves by using a strength and weight advantage. So if the woman was close to the man in strength and weight I say yes, otherwise I say no unless the woman has awesome technique in wrestling or a martial art, not just being athletic.

She would have to be very athletic, and about the same size as the man. Even so she would still be weaker than her opponent but I'm thinking she would have better endurance and could probably wear him out. This is wrestling, and not an all out fight, right? I'm also assuming that they are about equal in skill. In an all out fight between equally skilled opponents, I think the woman would loose. A mans base strength and speed is still more than an athletic womans strength and speed.

It depends. How athletic is the woman? Is she a skilled wrestler, and the guy isn't? Is her athletic ability in running or lifting weights or both? When I teach grappling to woman I always have them wrestle with guys because most likely thats who they would be fighting against in a real situation. I would take some of the woman I train even over some athletic guys.

being a man i would say there are to many vairiables in this question to give an honest answer without writing a 500 page thesis.
if i was a woman i would say oh yeah for sure, easy because i would'nt understand that there are differences between men and woman that just can not be changed.

In Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu I see it everyday! I'm 205lbs. and have been beaten while sparring by a woman.
Go to www.jiujitsugear.com/forum and post there and ask for some video links of women beating men in Jiu-Jitsu and/or Grappling. I'm sure they will point you in the right direction.
There are women that post there also who have beaten numerous men.

Sure.
The quality and frequency of her training are probably higher than the average mans.
Just because she is a woman does not mean she is inherently weak, that is very narrow minded to think.

lol definately the women... if ure talking about the high school/ college wrestling..... because the man doesn't want to go hard against a girl........ and the girl wants to prove herself..... so if ure really trying against a girl ure boys are gonna make fun of you because when u wrestle u can usually tell.... and for a girl.... there's basically like 1 or 2 on a team.... and they feel like they gotta prove themselves to the boys.... and the boys when their wresling always try to get a little touchy and that pisses them off

indeed....when it comes to a fighting match everyone has a chance at leaving the battle area as a winner its just about how that person goes about the fight.....if you are a trained fighter that possiblity is much higher.....so never let a person tell you just because you are a female you can never win a fight with a guy because you can i have seen it happon....
