I have read the manual and it requires a H11 55w halogen bulb. If i replace that bulb with a H11 pure white xenon bulb will that work?

Save your money, tests show the aftermarket "upgrade" bulbs do little if nothing. If they were that good, and relatively cheap, the manufacturers would use them.

Bulbs, Pure White, Xenon, High intensity dishcharge all different types. HID's require special step up transformers and have a very blue white light and are currently available only for your low beam bulbs. Factory lights are 55 watt and are warrantied for 3 years 36,000 miles. Sylivania silverstar bulbs quartz glass tungsten filiment are just about the best replacement bulb you can buy. Put any higher wattage bulb in and melt your headlight and void your headlamp assembly warranty.
