no. in today's society because the government requires financial institution and employer to have tax payers I.D. (SS#) before they can offer services and job to any person, lenders of any kind will not offer credit without a SS#. With the readily availability in ease of information supplied by the credit reporting agencies , the SS# is "our" tracking devise. ( from place of birth, through school, jobs, bills, taxes and death.....sorry)
