Can I make a non-alcoholic drink that tastes good and others would drink rather than alcohol?

Sure you can!! Try these:
1. Sprite + Orange Juice (OJ) + Pinneaple juice
2. Gingerale + OJ + grenadine syrup (make these in individual glasses and dont stir it together, it makes a pretty color)
3. Shirley Temple --> Sprite + Grenadine syrup

Actually, I DO drink alcohol for the taste so it's not true that people only drink it for the effect. Liqueurs - yum!
Anyway I don't know. Perhaps something really rich like a chocolate fruit milkshake.

That's how Welch's Grape Juice was made. In other word's, people don't drink alcoholic drinks for the "taste." They drink it for the effect, so knock yourself out. It won't do any good.

Vanilla Ice cream, vanilla, and....whatever you want to add, mix until smooth and serve.
I have used coffee. cherry juice, or anything with a strong flavor.
Last alcoholic drink I had was in the mid 80's.
I once had a party where I had a 12 pack of beer, and a keg of birch beer on tap.
End of the night, keg was empty and I had 11 beers left

Start with about a dozen fresh strawberries, about a cup and a half of ice, and a liter of sprite. throw all of that into the blender and liquefy it. Instant arbor mist, minus the alcohol.

I did that once, making bloody marys. I even started with tomato paste to keep it low salt. After you add the lemon juice and spices (especially fresh ground pepper and hot sauce), it's really good. I also did it with vodka, just for the low-salt benefit.
