Met this girl who's friends of a friend a few months back. We became really close and after a few months I expressed interest in becoming more than friends. She kept insisting that we could only be friends but at the same time she would always flirt with me and one night I got sick of it and went to her house and we made out (and I could have slept with her but for some stupid reason I didn't). Her life got a little complicated right after that and she pulled away from me emotionally but we still talk all the time. I'm just wondering if anyone thinks I still have a shot or if I should just cut my losses and forget about it. Should I wait a little while before trying again?

You should really talk to her. It seems like this is bugging you. Just get it off your chest and maybe she can do the same as well. It is great to have a relationship where you can be open and have no secrets or pressure with eachother. Plus it will take a big load off of your mind. If you really like her, just hang out. Try to be unique and somewhat romantic. Do some little things that might catch her attention, like buying her soup if she's sick or giving her her favorite candy because you stopped at the store for yourself and then thought of her. Don't buy her a bracelet, or treat her to a fancy dinner. That might make you too eager. Just be yourself. Don't give her too much attention because she might know that she's got you wrapped around her little finger.

As for having a shot, maybe. Is she worth it? Is she for short term or long term? If she is long term material go for it, because the good ones will pass you by and sometimes you can get one or two that are truly the ones for your life.

Why not try talking to her. Get everything out in the open. If she is interested she will say so if not you have not lost a thing.
