My whole family went on an Alaskan Cruise to celebrate my parents 40th anniversary. We spent a few days in Vancouver Canada first then 7 days on the cruise and then a few more days in Alaska. We went up to Denali Nat'l park and all over the place. We had a great time and saw lots of cool stuff. Vancouver is a really cool city too! And I got engaged on the trip and now I am trying to plan my wedding - and I want to have it in Croatia next May! I love to travel!

Nova Scotia Canada..what a beautiful place to visit. Then crossed on the ferry to Prince Edward Island another beautiful vacation land, and from there across the Confederation Bridge to New Brunswick.

Truthfully, I climbed Denali (Mt. McKinley) in Alaska. That climb was hell, a true torture triathlon, but worth it to summit. Go with IMG (RMI) only.
The treat, for me, was the little town of Talkeetna at the base. Very cozy and nice, so is Anchorage. I'll bet both would be super vacation spots for a week. Especially if you planned ahead for some good eating spots, and incorporated a spa hotel or at least some visits for spa treatments.
Before that, Cabo (not so good); and Iceland (superb).

On a day trip to Vermont. We went to the Vermont Country Store and up to Barre to the Hope cemetery. Not really a vacation but it got us away from the stresses of our daily routines.
