I'm 6mo. out of a long term relationship and don't want to date. Women have been hitting on me, phoning and even crying. Yet when your on the hunt they won't have anything to do with you.

I subscribe to an e-mail relationship-type newsletter. The guy that puts the newsletter out has this theory that desperate men (in a polite rephrasing of his sometimes slightly vulgar words, "being nice and obviously on the hunt and doing whatever you can to try to please") don't attract women, and that in order to attract women, you need to put on an aura of "not caring what the woman thinks". His theory continues that if the woman thinks you care too much about either her or the relationship, you are "not interesting" and "not a challenge" since almost all guys act the same way. So....when you're REALLY not looking, women are more attracted to that. He also spends some time talking about how this makes no sense, but it is true anyway, and since people consistantly write him telling him that he has "changed their perceptions of dating in a positive way", maybe he is on to something. I don't know if I completely buy into the theory, but it certainly would explain your own observations.

Yep. Same thing happened to me recently. I had a bf and had all kinds of guys hitting on me. Broke up with him and they disappeared like magic. Now that I'm back with him they are all over me again. What's up with that?

because, when you're lloking for a relationship, you're kind of desperate to be with someone, and women and men, sence desperation, we don't like a desperate person, but when you're not looking for a relationship, you are cool about everything, you don't have the need to have a girlfriend, that's when everyone wants you, they sence that you are not in NEED and they want you!!

Women knew Guys who are needy and who are not
since you are not needy, you attract more girls than normal ones
