To be on the safe side Sandy, I wouldnt touch any alcohol at all while you take medication. Its just not worth the risk as you don't know what reaction you may have. Waith until you are fighting fit again before divulging yourself ! Stick the kettle on .

I have done this before and you have to be careful with the codeine it
reacts different in different people. Codeine can make you sick to your stomach so I would wait to see how the codeine works for you and then if you feel okay, then maybe you could try a small glass of wine. It really intensifies the effect of the codeine, almost like a sedated feeling. I hope this helps

lol... It won't kill you.

Generally, they advise against drinking more than three alcoholic beverages in a day if you're taking Tylenol-3. One glass of wine will probably help the Tylenol work, as it will relax you. I'd say go for it.

I'm a total hypochondriac, but that wouldn't freak me out. Have your glass of wine. :)

It's not going to kill you or anything, however, it's generally a better idea to not consume alcohol when you're taking narcotics, as alcohol increases the narcotic effect.
