Hi!
Well unfortunately I can not give you a list saying: buy this and that...In my opinion you should get him something personal, that shows him how much you care about him and that you listen to him and share his dreams... For example: When I found out that my new boy-friend was crazy about the HUMMER II, I bought him a little model one. Think of situations during your dates, perhaps something. happened that gives you an advise what he likes. Or buy YOUR most favorite perfume for men...I'm sure he'll love it, because he wants to smell good for you! Make a CD with his favorite songs and put one song in there sang by you...
A non-expensive present would be a voucher box!
Get a nice looking box and put in there one voucher for a month, week or day of the year. One voucher could be for cooking dinner, an other for a massage and another for a night out. Like that you'll have Christmas all year long and you keep the new relationship active and spontaneous. You can also variy between vouchers for working days and weekends by using different colors of paper and then create vouchers for the weekends and little love messages for normal days.
I hope I could help you!
Have a merry Christmas!

If I were him, a "Merry Christmas" and "I Love You" would be enough.
But, if you are getting him something, make it something more more meaningful than a baseball. It's a nice gift and all, but if he isn't an asshole, what he would appreciate most is just for you to show that you love him.

I would say give him a hat or a shirt with his favorite baseball team and the signed baseball. I am glad to see that you are happy in your relationship. Hope he puts as much thought as you do.

If you are in h.s. - that is enough.
If you are into money - a gift certificate for the two of you for the movies/restaurant.
If you know his interest: gift certificate at Home Depot or BoxOffice etc.
A bag of kisses - mixed Hersheys and slips with your name on them. His draw.

I think what you got him is sufficient. If you two are still together next year by then you will have a feel for what he wants and the gift can be even more special.
