There is no way to cure a sore throat in one night. But, the way to make yourself temporarily feel better would be ibuprofen. It is an anti-innflamitory, it will reduce your swelling and help the pain as well. That should help you be able to sing a little bit more comfortably. Also, bring lemon water to the play, and drink it before you sing, as well as all through the day. there is vitamin C that should help your body heal a little faster, and it helps clear your throat for singing. As for the long term healing, drink some Airborne right away! I do that whenever I feel myself coming down with something, and it never lasts very long! Maybe even pop two tablets in the water, Vitamin C can't hurt. My Aunt swears by echinacea, it's an herb you can buy at the drugstore. She takes two a day when she's sick, and she swears it heals her faster. I hope I've helped!
