Theobromine is toxic dogs. It is found in chocolate in varying amounts depending the type of chocolate.
Amount needed to kill a dog varies by dog so its best not to even chance it by giving your dog chocolate.

That's found in chocolate and it is toxic for your dog. It attacks the immune system and your dog or cat can die from it.
Least toxic is white chocolate while baker's chocolate is the most fatal.
