Call the police!
This may be a little drastic, but it will work guaranteed.
But you should probably just stay away from him because
this kind of violence does not stop it only escalates.
SOMETIMES INTO MURDER!

The only way to stop him from hitting you is to start loving and respecting yourself more. Then you leave him with confidence and self respect. By doing so you won't return to him when he calls saying that he will stop drinking or is going to get help. He might even go to the extreme and say he is going to kill himself...trust me that has nothing to do with you. He will never change so therefore you must change so the next guy you attract won't be like this ******.

My girlfriend went through this and guess what? She's dead! Men like this wont change they get off on your misery, break up with him leave and disappear from his radar. Then get some counseling and figure out why you have such low self esteem that you actually think you need to put up with this. There are sooo many fish in the sea and this one needs to be put on land to flop around and die from oxygen deprivation. Get some help sweetie and figure out what's really going on with you and why you're punishing yourself with this putz!

Most women stay in abusive relationship because that "love" that person. The real question is, are you will to put your life in danger? You need to break up with him and consult a counselor/psychiatrist. You need to get past this rough patch in your life and live for the future. Happy Holidays!! :)

Leave him!!
If he is doing this now. He won't change.
Five or ten years from now he would still be in control and still abusing you.
If you leave and he contacts you with more abuse - Verbal or physical, report him to the police. Have him charged. Abuse is a serious matter.
Don't give in to his crying and promises to stop. It won't happen. My sister lived with an abusive partner for years. She ended up leaving him after years of abuse.
Move on, please. For your sake.

leave him NOW! and dont go near him again, dont believe him if he says he'll change, get a restraining order if you have to. abusive relationships will only get worse the longer you stay in them cuz he'll know that he has control.

Dalicia, you must be kidding, why are you still with him? If your boyfriend hits you and controls you, you drop the scum bag and if he persists annoying you, go to the police and report this idiot.

nobody deserves to be treated like that...if you don't have a big brother or a friend who can kick his ***, next time he puts a hand on you shove something sharp into his upper thigh...won't kill him but he'll certainly get the "point"
