I got a perm and my stylist told me to wait 48 hours before washing it. I waited about 45 hours, and dried my hair a little bit with the diffuser and it looked fine. Just make sure you use conditioner and shampoo for permed hair, and try not to play with your hair too much. I just finger combed it a little bit, fixed my part, then diffused it for about 1-2 minutes. And don't comb your hair otherwise it'll be frizzy. Other than that, I say it'd be ok to wash your hair now.

Perms are plenty greater effective than they was back contained in the 80's, if she will take care of the maintenance its no longer a foul concept, and shop this in suggestions - If it seems she doesnt like it she will pour a small bottle of canola oil on her head for 20 minutes with a warm towel wrapped around it and it will loosen the perm.

You can wash it but if u dont have a diffuser, leave it to dry naturally & only scrunch every 5 mins or so around the roots of your hair til its fully dry, the reason for this depends on the length of your hair it can weigh it down leaving the roots less curlier than the rest of your hair.

Usually, you can't wash your hair until 48 hrs. after you got the perm. Otherwise, you will lose the curls.

You could wash it today, but most people would recommend that you wait until tomorrow, especially if your hair may not hold curl really well (like mine).
