i think they look weird and gross. and violent. although, i dont think its bad when guys gel their hair into a mohwak, as long then still have hair on the sides of their heads. but it has to be sort of messy.

I am most certainly not against mohawks. They intrigue me and I think that the person who can sport a mohawk and not care, is awesome and cool in my book. I would most certainly date a guy with a mohawk. This also comes from a girl that has turquoise ends to her hair. I think older people don't like mohawks because they see it as rebellious and for kids that are up to no good. Truly it's just another stereotype.

I remember seeing a girl with a mohawk she had a total punk look going.She was so hot, such a pretty face wicked bod.i couldn't have anything agaist her mohawk!Now most of the time it is a rather butch kind of look.But it's not something that freaks me out .I've had friends who are native and had mohawks.For them it was more of a cultural thing.So why should anyone be against that?Scared of hair?That's dumb!

Not to stereotype people with mowhawks, but since shaving the sides of your head is kind of a drastic thing, many people who have mowhawks are wild and drastic. So, some people may be against mowhawks because they think this means if you have a mowhawk you are are a crazy, dangerous, rough person.

People are just freaked out cuz their different. Essentially, whether we wanna believe it or not, we expect people to look a certain way and when someone goes out of "the boundaries" they get scared and automatically label it as a bad thing!
Personally i think there really cool, alot of females are starting to wear them although they usually just create the illusion of one :)

Im not against them. Maybe the people who are against them still think of violent punk rockers as having mohawks.

i like mohawks!infact at my old skool i had a "fowhawk"it was cool!so yeahh mohawks are hott.

I like them but, they are seen as 'counter-culture' and uneducated people feel that anything counter culture is bad. :)
