I'm Christian, and even though many people think that that is what my religion teaches, I hope not. I think Christians can get there through Jesus and Jews can still get there through morality. Maybe God tries to reach different people in different ways? But I can't be sure of this and I know Jesus is real so I will stay a Christian and help anyone who wants to become one.

Just a crazy thought. But I've always imaged it would be nice if everyone was judged by their religion: good Christians went to Christian heaven, good Buddhas gain enlightenment, good Hindus can end the cosmic cycle of rebirth... It is interesting to know that most religions are soteriologies (striving for salvation)--maybe we are all looking for the same thing in different ways.

Somewhere it says each will be rewarded by his works. or deeds. A good man gets a good reward, a great man, other rewards. I know exactly what Jesus said, And it was through Him I found God my creator. I am in dwelt by the Holy Spirit. And I know, a whole world was drowned at Noah's time. And yea i have read what is said about that from both sides. You know, nice, does not enter into the scene. I believe. So it is possible that God would let everyone else perish. In my mind What are they giving up? a mistruth. To get what? To know the LIVING God. See God is not democratic. He is the owner of it all.

I am a follower of the teachings of Christ.and have complete & totol faith an trust in God and the Spirit of God.which Jesus said he would leave for us to guide us. because he was going back to heaven to be with his father.everyone will go to heaven except those who are evil. and some who become ghosts.and some who will be lost souls.and some who just don't wont to go anywhere. and will stay around there home for a while.then some will have virgins waiting for them.but they wont be around my parents in heaven because they wouldn't put up with that nonsense, some will ride ships on the eternal ocean of love. but some people don't like the water so they will climb the eternal mountain for a million years or so. and some will fly like eagles. and some will burn in hell for being evil.in my fathers house or many mansions.mansions for buddhists, hindus. pagans. wiccans. Eckanakar.muslims.earth worshippers. naturalist. nudists.straught people. gay people and all people in between/.ow and you too.

Yes tis' true. All you ******* hindus, buddhists, muslims, and JEWS will burn in eternal fire! And GOD will release his gas unto you all to increase the size of the fire. DIE!

JK...Religion is bogus. Although there could be some sort of GOD, but there's no religion out there that explains what GOD is. But never lose hope that there could be some sort of eternity. Unless it gets proven false.

Jesus? who is Jesus? did he even exist? is there really any evidence? No. Therefore you can only believe in Jesus. And believing is for the weak minded.

I don't believe so because if someone is a good person to the best of their ability and lives their life in a positive way, why would they go to hell just for not believing in God?

NO! That "jesus way" you talk about is just rules and examples written in a book a long time ago. Who is anyone to say that is the only way? And anyone who does needs to wake up and take a look outside. Things changes everyday and you have to set your "ways" around what you know, not what someone is telling you. You base your beliefs off your own personal experiences, not anyone elses. Just be nice and people will be nice to you.

Yes. Except maybe the 144,000 direct Jewish descendants I am not sure if they are excluded, I need to do more research on that. But otherwise, the New Testament makes it clear that the only way to heaven is to except Jesus Christ as your personal Savior. I will pray for you.

Honestly, I think you're looking at it the wrong way. Jesus says that when he returns every knee will bow and every tongue confess that he is LORD. Now, at that point everyone will have admitted Jesus is the son of God. Does that mean everyone is going to heaven? Unfortunately, no it doesn't.

Who gets in and who doesn't is still somewhat of a mystery. So much so, that God used an example in talking with Peter after the resurrection with Jesus. Peter is asked three times by Jesus, "Do you love me?" The purpose was to get Peter to understand that kind of devotion required because of the death he would have to undertake (his own crucification). This vexes Peter, who turns and points at the disciple John, and asks, "What about him?"

Jesus' answer is the same to everyone who would ever ask the question about someone else's rules or someone else's salvation, "What does it matter? You follow me."

It's not up to you or me to determine who gets into heaven or hell and why. It is only up to us to do what we need to do according to his call on our own personal lives. We live for him. If you concentrate on doing what you are supposed to be doing, you won't have anything to worry about.

As far as the subject of Hell goes, it is a real place. We can call it a lake of fire as it does in the the book of Revelations, but no one really knows or understands except those who have gone there. What we do know about Hell is that Jesus believes it is real. He even uses it in a parable about Lazarus and a Rich Man who knew him. The Greek translation of Hades would probably be their best way of identifying with the descriptions given of hell. The key thing, though, is if Jesus is talking about it then it certainly exists.

As far as Jesus is the way is concerned, you have to try and think more broadly. Jesus is the way, but how many ways are there to Jesus? If in the beginning there was God, and the Word was with God and the Word was God, then living according to the "word" would be living according to God. Maybe that is true, maybe it isn't, but it is certainly logical. The things we do know about who gets in and who doesn't is certainly answered by the parable of the goats and the sheep. Those who don't know Christ, who reject God and His Word, will not enter the kingdom of Heaven, because Jesus will tell them to depart. Those who neglect widows, the poor, orphans, their brothers and sisters in the world, the sick, the needy, or anyone who is in general need of help will also be rejected by Christ, because he identifies himself with them.

Lastly, you have to remove the idea of fairness from your brain. Fairness as we teach it is a myth, a fairytale. It doesn't exist. You must be able to dissimulate "nice" from "obedient". Sure, they may be helpful, kind, loving, and supportive, but if they are rejecting God then they are separated from the gift of salvation. These are Jesus' words. Depart, for I never knew you. It would be just as unfair for a Muslim who believes in the extremist approach to see one who doesn't give themselves up in a suicide bombing of infidels gain the prize of all the virgins in the hero's welcome. What did he do to deserve that? We may not like it that a Jack the Ripper or Charles Manson could rehab and become a saint in the ministry and gain access to heaven, but what exactly did we do to get in? Especially when God says he favors no man? It's a gift of grace and we do not get to choose who that gift is offered to, or who accepts it. We can only answer for ourselves.

No.

Where do the unconverted dead go?

They are dead just like the other dead.

You make the teachings of Christ of no effect by your man-made traditions.

One man-made tradition is "good people go to heaven when they die and bad people go to hell when they die."

Isn't it time we transcended the fables of childhood?

No one has gone to heaven except the Son of man (John 3:13).

And hell?

Where are they?

In their graves!

"Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, and shall come forth, they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life, and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation" (John 5:28-29).

The King James "damnation" is from lthe Greek word "krisis", meaning "contesting".

The "contesting" takes place in a second physical life after the 1000 years. The vast majority of mankind is not being called now.

Some of the ones who are "contesting" in the future will still not repent. And they will cease to exist. The words "you only live twice" will be only too true for them.
