Ground Beef- Put the ground beef in a skillet, set the heat on medium high, add some chopped onions, keep breaking it up with your spatula until there are no more big pieces left, add some salt and pepper, I also like to add some onion cup of soup to make it taste better and keep cooking until the ground beef is browned.

Spaghetti- Fill a pot with water and bring to a boil, then add your spaghetti and cook for 10 minutes, drain, add butter and then add sauce.

Then either add the ground beef to the spaghetti and add more sauce or just add sauce to the ground beef depending on how you want it.

The easiest and quickest way to make spathetti is to use a jar sauce as your base and "doctor" it up. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat chopping and stirring until it is no longer pink. Drain the fat into a can or container you can dispose of later. Pour the jar of sauce over the ground beef and heat up. Add parmesan cheese, mushrooms, spices, etc. to your taste. Boil water for your noodles and follow package directions. Some garlic bread or a nice fresh salad go well with the spaghetti.

Brown 1 lb of lean ground beef, drain grease (into a can or jar - not the sink) then chop some garlic and an onion add to beef and stir. Then add some parsely flakes and oregano flakes; add a sm can of tomato paste and the same can full of water. I also like to add a can of Rotel tomatoes and chilis (mild flavor) Some people like 'stewed whole tomatoes' but I don't like those. Add more water if needed if it is too thick. And you can also throw a couple Bay leaves into the pot; add meatballs if desired. Voila it is ready to eat, but it gets better with time - so let it simmer for a few hours -stir occasionally. If you make a big pot of it you can separate out portion sizes and freeze them in Freezer Zip loc bags, and then it is a quick and easy meal in the future. Just defrost & heat up (maybe add some Prego "traditional" sauce to your desired thickness or saucy-ness) and make which ever pasta you want.

Mama’s Spaghetti Sauce and Meatballs

Who doesn’t love a Saturday night meal of good ol’ spaghetti and meatballs? The secret to the sauce lies in the flavorful meatballs made with 3 kinds of meat.

Serves 8

3 (23-ounce) cans good-quality tomato sauce
1 (5.5-ounce) cans tomato paste
1 onion, finely chopped
1 green pepper, finely chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/3 pound ground beef
1/3 pound ground veal
1/3 pound ground pork
1 egg
1/4 cup Italian-style bread crumbs
1/4 cup fresh-grated Parmesan cheese

Combine the tomato sauce, tomato paste, onion, pepper, garlic, Italian seasoning, pepper and salt in the slow cooker.

In a large bowl, combine the beef, veal, pork, egg, bread crumbs and Parmesan; form into balls.

Transfer the meatballs to the slow cooker.

Cook on LOW for 8 to 10 hours, or on HIGH for 4 to 5 hours.

Wow.

Noodles: boil according to the directions on the package. It takes about 9 minutes + however long it takes the water to come to a boil.

Sauce: brown 1 # ground beef in a skillet with 1 small chopped onion, a tablespoon of garlic powder or minced garlic, and a tablespoon of oregano or italian seasoning. Then dump some freakin' Prego on it and make like you cooked all day.

Salad in a bag.

Buy a loaf of bakery Italian bread. Put about a teaspoon of garlic salt, 2 tsp of italian seasoning, 1/2 tsp of crushed red pepper on a small plate. Dampen slightly with water to "reconstitute" the herbs. Drizzle olive oil over the herbs. Top with grated parmesan cheese. Serve with wedges of bread---dip bread into flavored oil. You are now a fabulous gourmet.

1 lb. ground beef
2 jars spaghetti sauce of your choice
1 1b. package of spaghetti noodles

Into a hot skillet, tear the ground beef into small pieces. While it begins to brown, bring 1 gallon of water to boil. Use a pancake flipper/spatula to keep the beef moving and to chop it into small pieces as it cooks. Once it is all cooked through, with no brown leftover, drain in a colander and return to pan. Keep on warm heat. When water is boiling, add 2 tbsp. salt, stir the water and then add the pasta. Stir for a few minutes until it returns to a boil, then stir once in a while until noodles are cooked through, about 10 minutes. Drain noodles in colander and return to pot, add the ground beef that you've kept warm, and then stir in the pasta sauce. Start with just one jar/can and stir, if you feel it needs more sauce, add it. Serve with garlic bread, salad and parmesan cheese. Enjoy.

1 Package of Spaghetti Noodles

1 Can of Prego Meat Sauce

1 Pound of Hamburger

Boil water, then add spaghetti noodles Once you can throw one at the wall and get it to stick, it's done. Put them through a strainer, and rinse.

Brown the beef (you may wan to do this before the noodles. Once it's browned put it into a strainer, and rinse the grease off. Put back in the pan, and add the Prego sauce at low/medium heat (make sure you cover, or you will have a mess).

Once both steps are done, you are ready to go.

You can do it many ways.
From scratch, from sctratch with a spice mix, from a jar or can with or without meat.
The noodles are cooked according to the package directions either way.
From scratch, brown the meat in a skillet, drain the fat, make sure it is crumbled to small pieces.
Usually the sauce is made with tomato sauce, paste, etc.
Some people also like to use diced tomatoes.
Spices vary as much as you like.
Usually salt, pepper, oregano, maybe basil & other spices as desired. Or buy the prepackaged Spaghetti spice mix & follow instructions.
You can also get many varieties of sauce pre-made in cans or jars.
Ragu, Prego, Del Monte, Hunts, etc.
You can add meat or buy sauce with meat in it.
