One day, I looked up and wondered how everything came to be and without warning, I suddenly accepted that only a supernatural force, a force of forces could be responsible for this amazing creation. That is how I found God. By the way, how did you find God?

I found God when I first understood at like age 5 or 6 that there was a higher being. I believe it.

This question has encapsulated within it the thesis that we must have been lost.

However being lost is a Protestant term used in recruiting people to the brand name religion.

People who have not had contact with God are not lost, neither are they saved. They are simply waiting for a calling from the Father.

God contacted me in a direct manner.

He kept talking to me over the years, actually met Him in Australia (see my answer to Serj). By the way, I love Him for that. Because all I am now is the work of is grace

In disbelief....God does not exist...merely man's imaginative concept to justify human existance and have purpose in living.

The only abomination in this world is the judgmental religious nuts who represent themseves as god's children. And yet in their own book, it states only god can judge. And you wonder why I believe not!

God calls us and when we hear his voice we obey. Jesus said "My sheep hear my voice." His sheep hear his voice. Abraham was told to take his son up onto a mountain top and sacrifice him. He took his son up on the mountain and was about to slay him when he was told to stop. He obeyed. God knew that he would obey him from the start but Abraham learned what faith is when he did what God said to do. God is calling us to believe. Believing is seeing...although the world turns it around..but who are you going to believe?

We never found each other, he's always been there for me. I didn't realize it until i was about 9 and was dealing with my moms alcoholism, and from then on he's been like one of my best friends i go to him with everything whether it's good or bad.

He already know all about you before you were born and was waiting for you to come to him. We found him instead of God finding us. He was drawing (bringing) you closer to him.
