There is not a number 7 though. On the painting canvas the numbers are 3/8, 1/25, 11/16, 3/16, and such. I dont understand the fraction numbers. Can anyone help me? There are no instructions with this.

Hey zaknikmom,

The first thing to try would be combine 3 and 8 in equal parts, and see if that makes a color that might be good for the 3/8. Also, you should look at the package, find a web site or phone number and contact those people, driving you crazy like that. lol, hope that works for you.

I'm not positive what this means but I have a guess. It might be that you should mix the two numbers of the fractions together. I've had to do that with a few paint by numbers before so that could be the solution. I hope that helps!

This looks like you might need to mix 3 and 8 when it says 3/8.

the reason that # 7 might not be on there is because the kit you are working with might not have #7 paint. they wouldnt put it in if u didnt need it...

also, google "paint by numbers, how to" and it will bring up suggestions.

i'm glad someone is still doing a quality art project with their kids, even if it is paint by numbers...

...regard the first answer only as a joke, but never deprive your young kid of videogames, it will only make his addiction worse as he ages.
