how to convince parents to let me get an airsoft?

i need 100% details on how to convince parents to buy me an airsoft gun.

Please dont say anything like: "just get a paintball gun", or "save some money up and then buy it.

Just say you'd like to get into the sport of target shooting and an airsoft gun would be a great transition to the real thing. This will let you practice safe gun handling and develope safe gun handling habits so that when you eventually do get a reafl firearm, you'll be much safer and responsible.

Or maybe you would like to get into target shooting without getting a real firearm, even though you probably just want it to go around and shoot everything up including your friends which makes you not responsible enough to own one.

I don't know, you just got to know your parents and how to get through to them.

You need to show them that you can act responsibly, do your chores, don't argue with siblings, get good grades, and most of all demonstrate a good knowledge of gun handling skills. As a police officer I wind up confiscating several airsoft guns each year because the owners shot something or someone they shouldn't have. If they are 18 or over, they also get to spend the night in jail. So when your parents let you get one, please be careful.

Well say that they are actually safe and do not hurt.. When (IF) you buy one buy saftey goggles for more saftey. Get a less powerful gun and tell them that. If everything goes right you will have an airsoft gun.
