compared to any latin American country the US is way more evolved and progressive in that way ,,we welcome all cultures and races and try our best to create equal oppurtunity,,,these hispanics from other countries have a highly ethnocentric mentality,,,they don't even see that as a negative trait,,,as long as you think thier culture is the greatest one,,then you can be as open-minded as them,,lol,,,they fail to see thier hypocrisy,,,

Racism is a sport on countries like Mexico and Peru,,,they treat indigeanous people and black people like dirt and aren't even shy about it,,,,,a lot believe the white man is the devil,,,literally,,,and they will say it to your face if they are in the mood,,without feling any guilt or shame, they live in an old world mentality and they have the nerve to call the US a racist country

I've lived in Mexico and Peru for 3 years

Some people abuse their right to freedom of speech and they just speak their minds without thinking twice about how the other person would feel about their opinions.

You lived in Peru and Mexico for 3 years and you didn't see any white Mexican or Peruvian? You still think there are no whites in Mexico or Peru? Obviously you're faking. If you've have really lived in Peru you would know that there is a strong Asian community in Peru. And that an Asian was ELLECTED president of Peru. Very ethnocentric, don't you think? Don't try to fake, I'm watching you.

Well, I don't really think that Americans are racist. What Americans are is arrogant. That goes for the white, black, red, yellow and whatever color Americans are. We all live in our own little worlds and could give a crap about what goes on in the real world. We all have our own little cliq of friends and could care less about anyone else. Do we really care about our neighbors? Truthfully? No. We might be concerned about the new landscaping they had put in, or the new car they are driving, but do we care if your neighbors mother is ill, or if our neighbors cat died? No. Do we care about how our neighbors kids are doing in school? No. We don't care about anything other than those things that benifit us directly. Call me cynical, and I will agree with you. I am, and I don't care what you think. We all talk a good game when it comes to caring and compassion, but when the chips are down, we are willing to turn our backs, close our eyes and look for a way out , especially one that keeps us from being embarrassed, or keeps us from getting involved, a way out that will benifit us.
So racist, no.
Arrogant, yes.

Because you are arrogant, you think that you better than any other country even thou most of you are very uneducated about the world.Racism in US starts from within.Black are racist to white, whites to black,Hispanic,Asian...You say you welcome,no - is your immigration departments that welcomes immigrants.People in US hardly make them feel welcome. They hear an accent and they immediately think that the person is either stupid or criminal or illegal. So yes - you are very racist not only to immigrants but to your own

they have this concept that because of the fact the blacks of the u . s . fought racism and recieved rights as an American citizen that they are able to do an analogous element. although, they do no longer comprehend their 'race' isn't being denied citizenship, their 'race' isn't being abused, their 'race' isn't given equivalent rights. it incredibly is their failure to get carry of criminal get admission to into the u . s . that has human beings fired up. Mexican isn't a 'race'. the u . s . does no longer refuse to permit everyone of any race or ethnic foundation into our u . s . a ., as long as they do it legally. Our u . s . a . and it incredibly is electorate are no longer to blame for their povery, their loss of following rules, their lack of ability to refrain from having a super type of little ones they are able to't help them. it is not ideal for human beings to be required to pay taxes and then have those courses we fund pass to paying welfare and housing to those that do no longer belong in this u . s . a .. document Escort Deport ....to the BORDER NO Amnesty!!

Why do people on here claim that The US is a very racist country?

Because they themselves are racists. They have an enduring hatred for and prejudice against white Americans.

Come on wake up already you are dealing with hypocrites of the worst kind. You could even liken them to animals given the kind of disrespect they show towards their hosts. They come here and hate on black people, hate on asians, and especially hate on whites. All the dumbo liberals who consider themselves open minded are actually sticking up for losers who would never stick up for them, and think most of them are idiots anyway.

I wonder this myself.

And thank you for your comments, because frankly I think a lot of latinos are coming to this country and bringing their hatred of white people with them. I feel very hated and disrespected by many of the latinos I encounter, and I don't think that's very fair when my tax dollars are supporting ESOL programs to help them and their children.
