I'm happy for your concerns with your friend but I think she should be the one asking the question. You have totally no control about her thinking, there is probably other reasons why his boyfriend is acting that way.
If your friend is still hanging with the boyfriend then she likes what the guy is doing with him.
An advice wouldn't hurt, but again it's her decision to stay or not to stay.

She should dump that controlling freak but talk to him before that. She should be allowed to talk to who ever she wants.

I would tell her to find some one who cares and trust her and treat her good. this guy is trying to run her life. she has one dad already she don't need two.
