you're going to have a lot more problems the longer you keep taking it, and the doctor that put you on it will just keep increasing the dosage and probably add more psychotropic medications also, check out this group, lots of victims of those types of drugs

Facial twitches is a common side effect. Stay on the medication - as coming off it can cause even worse effects. But you should call your doctor immediately.

How long have you been on it? I am assuming you haven't gone from nothing to 100mg. There should have been some "ramp up" doses. If not, that is a HUGE problem and will contribute 100% to side effects. By increasing in small amounts, your body gets used to the chemical changes in your brain.

Ask your doctor if there is a more mild form of SSRI that you can take, Zoloft is pretty yucky. I was on it and the side effects were brutal, I am now on Celexa (a much gentler med).

• Call your doctor at once if you have any of these serious side effects: · seizure (convulsions); · tremors, shivering, muscle stiffness or twitching; · problems with balance or coordination; or · agitation, confusion, sweating, fast heartbeat. • Other less serious side effects are more likely to occur, such as: · feeling nervous, restless, or unable to sit still; · drowsiness, dizziness, weakness; · sleep problems (insomnia); · nausea, diarrhea, dry mouth, or changes in appetite or weight; or · decreased sex drive, impotence, or difficulty having an orgasm. You can go to the site I retrieved this information from and read it all for yourself. You should contact your doctor immediately. Especially concerning the twitching. I've been on Zoloft for years and fortunately have had very few side affects.

Concerned? Probably not overly. Should you call? Yes.

Some anti-depressants cause tremors. If they bother you, maybe you can get switched to something else.

Everyone reacts differently. Some people take Celexa, or Wellbutrin, and have no problems, others get tremors or nausea or whatever. They can't predict it, so you usually have to try a few different ones until you find a kind and a dose that works for you.
