You can't convince people that there is a God. Only God can convince people that there is a God. And if yo'ure motivated by fear, that is, of letting people go to hell from not believing, you're coming from a place of fear , which does not appeal to people. When people see someone who is afraid, their first impulse is to run the other way. that's whyfear based evangelism doesn't work very well. You may scare the pants off a few people here and there and get them to say they believe, but have you really accomplished anything?

Everything you need to know is in the Bible. The Old Testament is a history book. The two commandments in the New Testament are how we should live our lives today. God Bless!
