I'm moving into my very first apartment and starting college soon. I have an 11x13 bedroom. What is a good way to separate a study area away from the bedroom? Think modern.

you can hang a curtain from the ceiling., you can make shelves coming out from the wall, by using cement blocks or square milk crates and boards. Or if you have the money you can buy a divider, the three fold kind or the kind with shelves. Hope these were of some help.

You probably want something that provides storage and lets the light through.

Like another person said, bookshelves. Get the kind that are open on both sides, so that you get natural light on both sided of your room.

Target has folding bookshelves, handy also because they're easy to move.

Ikea has shelves that are fully open on both sides.

You could even build your own.
