I think the guy sould lean in for the first kiss, because it means that he likes you a lot and that he wats to kiss you. If the girl leans it means the same thing, but if they both lean in it means that they are both equally intrested.

I think the girl should be the first one,because when the guy does it so many girls are not sure what the guy wants .And they usually think that a kiss leads to more,but not always the case.If you make the first kiss it will catch him off guard,instead of you.That way you can control just how far it goes.

The girl can, but its much more romantic for the guy to. (guy goes 90% girl goes 10%) if the guy is too embarressed the girl should go in for it, the guy would follow if he really wanted it. If the guy leans in 1st he really wants it, but even if hes too embarressed, when u lean in, he'll know you want it, or if you both lean in, u both want it, and the kiss would usually lasts 2 times longer, since you know u both want it, and u dont have to worry, did he/she really wanna kiss me?

well, it depends what kind of guy he is, if he shy and doesn't talk too much then maybe the girl should do the kissing but if the guy is kinda cool and doesn't take stuff seriously then he's going to lean the first kiss.

From a girl: Kissing on the first date is fine. Not a peck on the cheek or liplocking, just a normal soft kiss on the lips If the guy knew what he was doing, it would not be awkward. His hand should be on her face or something so that it would be obvious that it is not a hug.

Doesn't really matter though if you've watched 'Hitch', the love doc recommends whoever's initiating should go in 90% and let the recepient go the remaining 10%.
