Adult males under 5 feet (1.5 m) tall and females under 4 feet 8 inches (1.4 m) are classified as being short-statured.
The average height of a dwarf is 4 feet. Most "little people" prefer the terms dwarf or little person to midget, since the word midget was used to refer to sideshow "freaks" originally. Sometimes the term midget is used for a proportionate dwarf, though.

You can apply for a handicapped parking permit, but you will need a certificate from your doctor to certify that you are genuinely handicapped by your height. Chances are you will make other people angry, as nothing irritates people more than seeing someone who is not genuinely handicapped taking a parking spot that should be reserved for someone on crutches or in a wheelchair. I'm under 5 feet tall myself, and even I know it's just a scam.

I think actual midgets have some kind Of disorder if you look at their arms they look different than normal humans. Some people I believe can be very short and not be considered a midget because they dont have the genetic disorder maybe just pituitary problems.

That person would be the worlds tallest midget. No, you would have to be a lot shorter to get to the midget class. Although you will get a teasing from taller friends.

The height does not have as much to do with being a dwarf, as this is the correct terminology, because there are other physical and identifying health factors involved.
