I have heard that we all go though this and it always passes. If it does not pass you may think about going to the doctor.

I work for a cosmetic surgeon who specializes in hair transplantation and restoration and is also a dermatologist. I know quite a bit about hair loss and its causes. It sounds like you most likely lost hair do to something traumatic like stress, or change in diet, or sometimes you lose hair before or after a pregnancy. The condition is known as Telogen Effluvium, and you will most likely grow back what was lost. But remember, growing it back may take years because hair grows only so fast. A treatment option can be the use of Rogaine, which will help hold on to the hair you have. I hope this helped, good luck.

My hair was doing the same thing. Maybe because you weren't taking good care of it and now you have.

it may be your hairs normal cycle of shedding, or its own way to regulate itself.
but since youve stopped losing hair, be thankful! :)
