Yes. Peanut butter is the best thing to get rid of chewing gum. This is because the oil in the peanut butter softens the chewing gum and mades it fall off the object it has gotten stuck to. Your dog will be fine! :)

Spread peanutbutter in excess over the pads of your puppy's feet. When the dog licks the peanut butter, he'll actually start wearing away at the gum as well - and this will be much less traumatic than if you were to lick it yourself.
This same trick actually worked for me when my daughter got gum in her hair, just a little Jif and she was suck-suck-sucking the gum away.

If you put peanut butter on the paw and get it to mix with the gum then slowly try to peel it off... that usually works!!!!

Try an ice cube!!!!! rub the ice cube over the chewing gum. This hardens the chewing gum and makes it brittle and easier to remove. Good luck

Go to Krogers and pick up some Goo Gone.It is in a spray bottle and the stuff in it is orange. My kid left gum in his pocket and I washed it and it was all over my coat.I bought some of this recommended from a co worker. It works great...It took all of it off...It works great on oil spots and a whole list of things.

this may sound funny, but trust me it works. you just put peanut butter on the hair and gum, and it'll just slid off. It happened to me once. and it didn't hurt at all.
