i cant move on, help me?

ok.. he is a really really good friend of mine... for the last 5 years. he considers me as his confidant...he tells me everything..
i so really like him, and well i think i have fallen in love with him.
he said he considers me to be a friend and nothing more.... and he loves his gf alot...
but lately they ve been having problems... and so they are on a break...
he calls me up for every tiny problem of his.... and sometimes it hurts so much cuz i wud never have him.
so i tried forgetting about it all.... i mean i was there for him... but we didnt have the closeness we had earlier but it was working fine....
he called up 2 days back and we talked for like 4 hrs international call about his time there....and he had some probs... so as usual it was me trying to sort it out...
i love him, i cant forget this anymore..i cant live with it either..... either our friendship goes or either i get hurt repeatedly.why the hell are we so close, why cant i just leave him

It sounds like you know the answer to your own question. You need to tell your friend to his face:

1. I like you and it's hard enough that you don't like me but it's even harder that you call me for every little problem w/your gf.
2. U never make time for me and my problems and I feel like I'm the only one giving in this friendship.

This might make him realize his actions and change. If not, forget him. Concentrate on a friend who actually cares for you. Good luck

come on...it's not like ur the first or the last that goes through this...just talk 2 him...and really u can't b an impartial friend of his if u like him so much...and all u do is hurt yourself!!! talk 2 me...if he cares about u the way u care about him he'll be with u that way if not move on...u'll forget him and u'll find someone who really deserves u...don't stay to long in this place...
