If two person go out and date each other never revealing their HIV status, is this wrong? They both are positive but don´t know that the other is positive. They both don´t know if they will be with each other, they practice safe sex, do they need to bring out their HIV status to the one they are being intimate with?

HIV is a very life changing and morbid decease and I think that it is only fair that they are honest about it. If the persons still want to stay and practice safe sex then it is fine because it was a decision made between them, but never deny the truth specially when it can mean a lifetime of difference. When two people come together intimately it is the duty of the infected person to let their partner know because of the potential of infecting one another, you don't need to have sex to get it ok so it is only fair to let each other know of the risks involved so the proper precautions can be taken. And if both of them turned out to share the same faith then wont you feel better once you get the load off your shoulders?

It is wrong, yes. I'm sure that they already know that "safe sex" isn't always safe. It is too risky to put someone's life in their own hand. And to say both are positive means nothing and changes nothing, they are going in assuming that the other person does not have HIV. If someone knowingly has sex with another, positive or not, without revealing their status, they are, in essence, saying that they don't care about other's well being. On the other hand, it is the partner's responsibility to ask. Since you (or whoever) obviously knows how hard it is to disclose that very important information, how hard do you think it would be for someone to ask you? Just be honest is the bottom line.

To know you are HIV positive and not tell your sexual partners is DISGUSTING. So what that you use a condom - condoms fairly frequently break or come off during sex. HIV positive people should be forced to disclose their status to sexual partners and if they don't reveal it, they should do time in jail.

By the way, why does this ******** "Man' keep posting that ****** site on everyone's questions?

what kind of stupid hypothetical question is this?

two HIV positive people usually don't just get together, go out and have sex.
if you are with someone the 'right' thing to do is , um, i don't know, get to know them. date for amount of time, then, have sex when the time is right.

but yeah, the morally responsible thing to do would be to fess up and let the other person know before things get intimate. then, and only then, they can do what they think is right.
but if both people are HIV positive, then why bother being 'safe' with each other. they can't get 'more' HIV positive.

if i have a loaded gun, without the safety on, in my pocket, wouldn't you want to know before i shot you with it? i think so.

oh yeah, and yuck, put a shirt on!!!!!!!

If you are positive, it is imperative and necessary to tell your partner before anything sexual happens. Common courtesy goes a long way.
