My boyfriend and I have recently been fighting about the same issue. Our last fight was really bad and now he is asking for space to think and chill out. He said he will contact me when he is ready. Is this a bad sign?

Not necessarily. I guess you both could use the break, since there is all this tension. In the long run, the wronged person usually gets the best out of a permanent split, anyways. Not saying thats the case, just saying.

Depends totally on how long it takes.

The time to decide is actually really dependant on how long you two have been together. The longer you two have been together, the longer it may take.

Still, it should not take more than 1 week or two at the most. Also, take the time for yourself and see if this issue is something that could be bigger than the both of you. If not, think about other ways of getting your point across while he's hopefully trying to do the same.

Give him plenty of time- like the rest of his life. If you guys are haveing bad fights that can't be resolved over the same issue- it is probably a sign that the relationship isn't meant to be. Move on. Good luck.

It depends, if he's acting like an idiot, then you shouldn't like him n e ways. THen it would be a good sign. If you guys keep fighting then maybe you guys aren 't right for each other. Just give him the space he asked for and don't fret over it. Things will work themselves out, sometimes they just need a little time.

you can say it's a bad sign but remember there is many fishes in tha sea if he doesnt wanna come bak find someone else maybe you guys arent meant for each other if you two fight alot. you can also tlk to him ask him what he wants and ask him if he really want to continue tha relationship and when he said he needs "space" is he saying "we cant go on"? tell him to be honest to you

No, I think it sounds like he is mature if he is asking for space instead of just breaking up. The only way to show him you respect his request is to give him as much time as he needs. Let him have his time away from you to get his thought together and to appreciate you. Remember, if it is really love, then absence will make the heart grow fonder.

its a bad sign. if he wants space it means a break-up is going to happen soon.

make him work it out with you. apologize. think about it, is the arguing worth it, are you happy in this relationship? how much do you like him? think about what it would be like without him. would you be sad? how long will you cry for? do you feel trapped in the relationship right now?

is this arguement worth losing him?

if you give him the space, then there will be a break up.

i swear.

He "needs space" means its over. He is seeing someone else and doesn't want to go out with you anymore. He just doesn't have the guts to break up with you. He will only contact you if he gets horny because he will know you are waiting. That way, you are an easy lay.Sorry. Truth hurts.

This probrably means he has doubts about the relationship and thinks he can maybe do better. The only thing you can do is just pretend your broken up. If he thinks you are off dating and having fun it's going to make him jealous. If you are around all the time asking when he wants to end the break its just going to push him that much further away.

it could be, depending on how severe the argument was.

sometimes people say things out of anger too so take that into consideration.

just give him some time, if your relationship means something to him at all he'll come around. if he doesn't take it as a blessing in disguise. if he can just turn his back and leave then he wasn't worthy of you in the first place.

good luck
