i thought it was a reddish colour,and me being Scottish as well and i am not 100% sure it goes to show you how many £50 notes i've had......

They are tartan, so we can disguise them in our kilts. There is also a limited edition hairy version which is almost invisible in the sporran. I believe there are only 3 scottish £50 notes in circulation.
