OK, can someone please help me? I like this guy that I met on myspace and he says he likes me. We talk on the phone and on myspace, but have not been able to meet yet. We have been talking since late June, but every time we plan to meet, something comes up with his daughter or we're busy with schoolwork or something.
I haven't heard from him much lately, but then sometimes he'll just send me a text to say hi or to tell me good night and sweet dreams. He's a sweet guy and all, but I'm tired of waiting.
What should I do?

He's actually friends with my oldest brother's friend, so he is who he says he is and I know that he's safe.
He and I are in college and his daughter is only 2 years old, so we're both pretty busy (i was taking 18 hours this semester).

Be careful what you ask for. If he is not coming at you with the same amount of speed as you are leaning toward him, then you're bound to crash somewhere along the line.

You're ready for him and he says he is ready to meet you too, but the excuses and excuses. He could be scared and gets the cold feet. That would explain why he still texts you to let you know he is still there. Maybe he likes the excitement of not really have met you in person. Maybe he likes getting texts and talking on the phone. But is he really ready for the next phase of meeting in person.

If you're tired of waiting and he's not meeting your need, then it's time to move on. Time is too precious to waste. I think you know what you need to do. You like him and you really want to have the chance to meet him, but he is dragging this out with all of the delays. Well make the game go your way. Make your rules and stick to them. If he can't play by them, then you know what to do.

well i must say this is complicated. But if he wants to really meet you and has nothing to hide and just is the sweet guy that he demonstrates to you, why does he not find time to meet you in real life??
im sure that the daughter doesn't have that much homework or takes away all of his time that he cannpt make time to meet you.
he has priorities but you must understand in roder to make things work, he must put you as one of the most vital priorities in the list. Tell him that you want to meet him... and see if he has any more excuses, making text messages and being sweet does not account for the fact that he may not be who you though he really is. :D good luck to you I hope every thing works out perfectly between you and him :)!

You do your schoolwork does this mean you are both in high school and he has a daughter? Is he older? He might be married too.

First of all don't meet him. He could be a psycho. And he could tell you anything. Move on.
