How about something totally different, like a meatless dish if you're not vegetarians (and I presume you're not or you would have said so).
For appetizers, sliced red and green peppers (also festive!) with a light ranch dip.
For dinner, quiche with cheese and broccoli, and a spinach salad on the side.
For beverage, "mock Sangria" - cranberry or red grape juice with apple and orange slices floating in it.
For desert, since you've been so healthy so far, maybe ice cream sundaes!

My favourite recipe (one that I use all the time):
Marinate some chicken wings/drumsticks in chopped garlic and ginger, and soy sauce (add some water otherwise it would be really salty). Then roast with honey. This makes great finger food/starters/picnic food!
This makes a good alternative to sunday roasts aswell - just serve with the usual veg and gravy, it's even tastier!

Chicken Parmasan, with garlic bread and tossed salad.
Cake, cookies, or pie for dessert,
and water with lemon, or koolaid, ohhh, or sparkling grape juice (served in wine glasses), and of course................
make it a candlelight dinner!
Have fun!
